  • Katie + Vinny :: Chartwell Country Club, Severna Park, MD

Chartwell Country Cub in Severna Park, MD was such a fantastic venue for Katie and Vinny's wedding! Katie and Vinny were planning the wedding from afar, and Morgan and the staff at CCC really helped make everything run seamlessly throughout the day. With the sporatic storms that day, Katie's umbrellas added flair and kept the bridal party dry. The rain didn't stop these two from enjoying their wedding though! Both avid rock climbers, they're used to the elements. Katie's expression showed it all--she was radiant and beaming and rocked her dress! Her grandfather was moved to tears when he saw his mother's ring tied to her bouquet. Hugs, tears, laughter and then dinner and dancing! It was so much fun to watch Katie's dad dance his heart out with a few relatives. Their friends and family had an amazing time celebrating with them. Congratulations Katie and Vinny! #ChartwellCountryClubwedding #GolfClubWedding #SevernaParkWedding #Marylandwedding #Marylandweddingphotographer #bouquetwithsucculents #Rainydaywedding

  • Kristin + Dennis :: Hyatt Regency Baltimore Inner Harbor

Married on the rooftop deck of the Hyatt in downtown Baltimore with a stunning view of the Harbor. They buried a bottle of whiskey in an undisclosed location on the top of the deck and well, no rain until well after the ceremony. The Bachelor Boys entertained the guests during cocktail hour and then jammed throughout their reception. Nothing quite like a live band to get the party going! What an amazing day they had!

  • Lauren + John :: Rusty Scupper, Baltimore, MD

Lauren and John were married on one of the most gorgeous spring days that we've had. After a cold winter lasting into late April, they were blessed with a beautiful day. They met in in a college study abroad program in Russia and have continued to travel the world! They read their hand-written vows to each other overlooking the Baltimore Harbor, their deep love for each other so evident. Lauren said that she knew John was the one not because he was the one she could live with, but the one she couldn't live without. Their family and friends came from all over the world to celebrate and the Rusty Scupper was an amazing location to enjoy the city backdrop. The delicious food, amazing music by Matt Davis and Light City Baltimore in the distance made the evening magical! • Chelsea + David :: Elkridge Furnace Inn, Elkridge, MD

Chelsea and David were married at the Elkridge Furnace Inn which provided such a warm and cozy environment for a chilly, rainy day! The rain didn't damper the excitement of their wedding day in the least. Their friends and family gathered to celebrate with them as they tied the knot. One of the funniest moments was when Chelsea's grandparents won the anniversary dance. First they had no idea why people were clapping and then when questioned about how many years they'd been married, her grandpa answered, "53 years." This confused the family (since they'd been married for 56 yrs). He cleared all confusion when he said, "I only count the good ones." Congratulations Chelsea and David on your marriage! #elkridgefurnaceinnwedding #elkridgefurnaceinn #marylandwedding #springmarylandwedding #theknot #tyingtheknot2018

  • Taylor + Jake : Whitehouse Caterers at Overhills Mansion, Catonsville, MD

Taylor and Jake are one of the kindest and most genuine couples that I've met and the deep love and commitment they share was so moving to witness. They were married on blustery day in March at Overhills Mansion in Catonsville, MD. Though the winds were fierce, it didn't prevent Taylor from getting outside for some photos! The ceremony was especially sweet. Jake was moved almost to tears as he watched Taylor walk down the aisle with her father and then it was Jake's brother who officiated. He was able to speak about their relationship with each other and deep love for Jesus. A shout-out to the awesome staff at Overhills who just made everything run so smoothly! • Emily + David : Baltimore Basilica // Whitehouse Caterers at Overhills Mansion

After so many below freezing days in January, the weather for Emily and David's wedding day was a lovely surprise! Emily's dress was designed and made by Laurie Anne Benko, owner of Restitched Designs. The scalloped lace neckline of Emily's dress and the ivory color suited her so well and the design complemented her slender waist. She wore her grandmother's pearl necklace and a gorgeous two-tiered veil which added such a classic touch. Emily and David were married at the Baltimore Basilica in Baltimore, MD. Opened in 1821 and known as "America's First Cathedral," it is magnificent. From its stately Ionic columns out front, to the interior domes and rich history, the cathedral is impressive. After their beautiful ceremony, Whitehouse Caterers at Overhills Mansion in Catonsville, MD welcomed us into a cozy atmosphere with delicious appetizers and drinks. After cocktails, Emily and David were introduced and went right into their first dance. The tenderness with which David cares for Emily is so evident and sweet. Guests wasted no time getting out on the dance floor and well, this family knows how to dance! After a brief interlude for dinner, the dancing continued. Their reception was such a wonderful celebration of family, friends, delicious food and amazing music! • Amber + Adam : The Engineer's Club at the Garret-Jacobs Mansion, Baltimore, MD

Amber and Adam's winter wedding was at the Engineer's Club in Baltimore, MD. It's the perfect venue for a winter wedding as weather doesn't matter since you're tucked inside of this incredible mansion with so many rooms from which to choose. Amber wore an heirloom emerald and diamond necklace (a gift from her great-grandfather to her great-grandmother on their wedding anniversary), her grandmother's bracelet and had a heart-shaped piece of her grandfather's shirt sewn into the inside of her dress, all mementos of her family. It was a sweet and tear-filled exchange when her father saw her for the first time dressed in her wedding gown, as was her entrance down the aisle to meet Adam. The officiant was a dear uncle of Adam's and he did such a wonderful job tying meaningful sentiment into their ceremony along with a little humor. After an amazing dinner, the deejay masterfully moved everyone to the dance floor for parent dances and then opened the dance floor and the party began! What an incredible wedding--Congratulations Amber and Adam!! #theengineersclub #TheGarrettJacobsMansion #baltimorewedding #winterwedding #baltimoreweddingphotographer #mountvernonwedding #tyingtheknot2018 #romanticweddinggown

  • Kelly + Alex : USNA Chapel // Officer & Faculty Club, Annapolis, MD

Kelly and Alex were married during the first snow in MD. I met Kelly and her bridesmaids for a few photos in a gorgeous home just across the street from the Naval Academy. The snow had started to fall and gained momentum, blanketing the landscape in crisp white. The USNA Chapel decorated for Christmas was warm, inviting and grande. The Chapel is considered the cathedral of the Navy which makes sense when you witness its massive size and stately architecture. Alex was visibly moved as he watched Kelly and her father walk the aisle to the altar. After their ceremony, they passed through a sword arch and kissed before each cross of swords. The swirling snowflakes created a picturesque backdrop to their exit. The reception was in the Officer and Faculty Club, not far from the chapel. The scent of pine boughs and the warmth of candles was so welcoming to their friends and family. Kelly had thoughtfully planned and designed the reception decor and details, every piece woven perfectly together. The tartan table runners and napkin rings, the navy-themed ornaments for guests to sign, and wooden signs all came together beautifully. Elizabeth and her team from East Made Event worked their magic in the set-up and coordination of it all and made the reception run seamlessly! The music by DJ Orlando, delicious dinner by the staff at the club, warm atmosphere of the Officer's Club, and the snow falling outside coating the world in white, combined with the amazing family and friends that surrounded Kelly and Alex made their wedding day magical. • Christine + Cory : Mt. Washington Mill Dye House, Baltimore, MD

Christine and Cory's wedding at Mt. Washington Mill Dye House in Baltimore, MD was absolutely beautiful. The exposed brick, stone, and industrial feel of the mill along with the warmth of candles and gorgeous centerpieces (made by Cory's mother) was stunning. Christine and her love of purple was woven in everything from her bouquet, bridesmaids' wraps, groomsmen's socks, to the centerpieces and party cups! Ha, I loved it! Their ceremony was sweet and the flowed right into a cozy cocktail hour of delicious hors d'oeuvres floating about, and the hugs, laughter and interaction of old friends. The speeches were moving and it was Christine's dad who mentioned that the family has been patiently waiting for this celebration (for quite some time). Thus, it didn't take long for this party to take off. Derek from Dance Masters was brilliant at mixing music and encouraging the guests to the dance floor. Their family and friends were so excited to celebrate with them are quite the impressive dancing crew. These two were just awesome to work with and getting to see Angela and Shawn again was a treat. What a wonderfully unique location to party the night away! • Chloe + Owen : Cylburn Mansion, Baltimore, MD

Oh these two were amazing! Chloe and Owen's "Old Baltimore"-themed wedding with inspiration from Edgar Allan Poe took place at Cylburn Mansion. Every detail was so thoughtfully planned. They incorporated Poe's works, used dried flowers and candles, the Raven as their theme image, and even had a life-sized cutout of Poe! Cylburn Mansion was the perfect venue for their theme. Friends and family gathered for their ceremony on the lawn with the Mansion as the backdrop. The stately architecture, the colorful Japanese maples, and the aisle lined with dried flowers created a lovely setting for their ceremony. The ceremony was moving as they exchanged their hand-written vows and a poignant excerpt was read from "The Velveteen Rabbit." Following the ceremony, everyone moved into the cozy mansion for the reception and enjoyed some of the most delicious food from Rouge Fine Catering, one of the best caterers in Baltimore! The single serving-sized pies for dessert were delightful. Then, the rain came just as the dancing began, but it managed not to dampen the festive mood of the guests! • Casey + Matt : The Engineer's Club at the Garret-Jacobs Mansion, Baltimore, MD

Casey and Matt were married at the Engineer's Club in Baltimore, MD. The staff at the Engineer's club took such good care of Casey, Matt and their families. Casey's first look with her dad was in the Atrium with its gorgeous natural light. Then, we moved out front for a first look with Matt. He was moved almost to tears. Such a sweet encounter with the two of them before everything else started. Linus (their furbaby) joined us for a few shots in his tux which was just adorable! Her nephews and the flower girl were the sweetest looking bunch as well! Following the ceremony, we were able to incorporate the amazing architecture of the the Garret-Jacobs Mansion into some of their photos. The mansion was once three row homes. The carved vestibule panels, Tiffany stained glass windows and skylight, and sweeping circular staircase are so elegant. Each room designed to reflect the Gilded Age, is plush with extravagant detail. It is the most amazing place! The reception was in the ballroom where Casey and Matt were introduced and had their first dance. The whole evening from the food, to the music, delicious dessert, sparkler exit and cigar bar was so incredibly classy!
