Alison + Jordan :: St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Silver Spring, MD // Torpedo Factory Arts C

I had the incredible honor of photographing Alison and Jordan’s Wedding. Their ceremony took place at St. John the Baptist in Silver Spring, MD and the reception was at the Torpedo Factory Arts Center in Alexandria, VA. Jordan teared up as he watched Alison walk down the aisle with her dad. Alison was simply radiant, smiling as her dad kissed her cheek and gave her away. The weather couldn’t have worked out more perfectly for them. While we were inside for the ceremony, it poured outside. As the ceremony ended, so did the rain, allowing us to take photos using the gorgeous arches outside of the church.

Once we arrived in Old Town Alexandria, VA, we had some extra time to walk around before their reception began. The cobblestone streets, brick pathways and walls, along with the ivy provided such a lovely, historic backdrop to their photos.

Their fun personalities and awesome friends and family made their reception quite the celebration! It was so exciting to be a part of their wedding day! Congratulations Alison and Jordan!
